USC’s Brittingham Center for Social Enterprise is hosting a Social Venture Competition to strengthen social venture ideas that impact serious challenges faced by communities in Los Angeles. Cash prizes up to $100,000 — and an additional $25,000 for projects addressing homelessness — will be awarded to the best ventures. Teams must have at least one current student (undergraduate or graduate) or one recent graduate of USC to be eligible and the venture must be self-sustaining and not rely on donations, not have raised more than $100,000 and be focused on social and/or environmental impact affecting Los Angeles. Submit a two-page feasibility entry and explainer video by March 1st at by 5 p.m. to be considered
