Gigniks is a Los Angeles based non-profit that provides the tools for high school students to build their own career channel. We partner a school with a local employer sponsor, bring in USC film graduates to teach a year-long video production elective, then take participants into the sponsor's workplace in small groups to shoot a series of engaging 3-minute profiles of their employees. Participants upload the edited videos to selected educational platforms and share them with their friends on social media. As users explore these career paths, they are inspired to think more creatively about the future and gain a stronger appreciation for the relevance of their education.

Gigniks offers underserved Los Angeles County students the opportunity to learn digital media skills, connect with professionals, and create their own career video library.
